Bayer CropScience to Divest Crop Uses for Carbaryl

Bayer CropScience has completed final transactions in the global divestment of the active ingredient carbaryl (SEVIN®) to Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc. (TKI). This divestment is for crop uses only. Bayer will retain the global turf and ornamental business uses as a part of its Environmental Science business.
This divestment is part of the global commitment announced by Bayer CropScience to focus resources on strategic growth areas and innovation. Bayer CropScience remains committed to offering new, innovative solutions, combining seeds, traits and conventional crop protection products as demanded by customers worldwide.
Bayer CropScience will be responsible to reconcile and service any current Sevin XLR inventory that growers currently have in their warehouses. TKI will be contacting growers very soon with more information on how the product Sevin XLR will be handled in the future.
