Infinity herbicide a hit with Remulakians

Remulak 5, Galaxy Light Years Away [Feb. 5, 2010] – The out-of-this world weed control of Infinity® herbicide is proving to be a hit with growers on planet Remulak 5.
Zxilax Kon, a prominent grower on Remulak 5 who appears in the latest Bayer CropScience TV commercial, was blown away with Infinity’s performance on kochia, wild buckwheat and cleavers in his wheat and barley fields.
“I’d heard of this Infinity,” said Kon, through an inter-planetary retailer. “But to see it work here on my fields is truly impressive. I’m recommending to all my neighbours in the surrounding galaxies and you can quote me on that.”
The innovative commercial uses the latest Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) technology – much like the technology used in movies such as Avatar – to tell the story of Infinity’s successful performance currently experienced in Canada’s best wheat and barley fields. The same technology was used in the production of the commercial featuring InVigor® hybrid canola.
“With its innovative Group 27 mode of action, Infinity has become the number one brand in barley and the number one active ingredient in wheat in Western Canada,” said Lauren Davis, manager of cereal crops - herbicides for Bayer CropScience. “The commercial is a continuation of our space-themed ‘Infinity – Light Years Ahead’ campaign which we launched two years ago.
“This is meant to be a fun, eye-catching campaign and there’s even more to come,” said Davis. “We’ve received another grower testimonial from another distant planet, which we’ll be broadcasting in just a few weeks.”
