Botrytis pod rot is the same pathogen that causes grey mould in strawberries and other crops. It is called botrytis pod rot in snap beans. It can severely damage bean pods, in some cases creating a mould over the whole pod. Flowers are infected and the pathogen grows to the bean pod.
