Botrytis leaf blight can reduce yield and quality of onions dramatically under the right conditions. Lesions begin as small white specks (1 mm to 5 mm in length) with light green to silvery halos on the onion leaf. With proper conditions, spots will spread, eventually killing the whole leaf and dramatically affecting bulb development.
