"White grubs" is the term given to larvae of many different beetles, including the June beetle, the Japanese beetle, and the European chafer. They are white with reddish-brown heads and six legs. These c-shaped grubs can reach a length of 4 cm at maturity.
White grubs can be found within the soil, feeding on roots, affecting the corn seedling.
