Lamb's-quarters

Lamb's-quarters is an annual weed. Its leaves are ovate to triangular, with white mealy particles on the lower leaf surface. Stems are usually red or purple striped and ridged lengthwise. Seeds germinate both early and late in season. It is a very competitive weed with high water consumption.
