Overview

  • Rovral WP is a local systemic fungicide for protection against Botrytis fruit rot in grapes, strawberries and raspberries, Monilinia brown rot in peaches, cherries and plums/prunes, and Alternaria leaf and flower blight in onions and ginseng
  • Provides three-way protection: protectant, kickback activity and local systemic activity
  • Penetrates the plant and provides activity in surrounding tissues
  • Protects flowers and developing fruitlets on contact
  • Protects against a variety of devastating fruit and vegetable diseases
  • Slows or stops fungal growth up to 48 hours after infection

Grapes Botrytis bunch rot 1.5 kg/ha Sprays may be applied beginning at mid to late bloom. Two sprays should be applied before complete bunch closure; these should be timed to achieve maximum protection of the fruit, i.e. just before anticipated periods of wet weather
Peaches Brown rot 1.5-1.75 kg/ha To protect the fruit use Rovral in a cover spray program with application at 7-14 day intervals throughout the season including a treatment 1 day prior to harvest. Use the short interval under wet conditions close to harvest

Raspberries Grey mould fruit rot 2 kg/ha Begin applications when flower buds are visible in the crown and repeat at 7-10 day intervals. Reduce intervals during rainy periods

Application Tips

  • Rainfastness: 2 hours (strawberries and raspberries)
  • Ensure complete coverage of crop and aim for applying no more than 48 hours after an infection period. This time period should be reduced under ideal disease development conditions.
