Overview

  • Velocity m3 herbicide combines two of the newest and most innovative active ingredients that promise to deliver exceptional grassy and broadleaf weed control.
  • Velocity m3 provides the power of pyrasulfotole with the newest innovation for grassy and broadleaf weed control called thiencarbazone-methyl.
  • Registered for use on spring and durum wheat.
  • Velocity m3 provides three modes of action (Group 27, 6, 2) together in one product to provide one solution for broad-spectrum weed control.
  • Excellent crop safety.
  • Flexible re-cropping.
  • Wide window of application (1 to 6 leaf stage, plus 3 tillers, but before jointing).
  • Registered for application by both ground and air.

Packaging
Each case of Velocity m3 contains two containers of herbicide: Velocity A (4L) and Velocity B (6.7L).

 

Water Volume
  • Ground - minimum of 5 imp. gal./ac. of water.
  • Aerial - minimum of 3 imp. gal./ac. of water.

 

Rainfast
One hour after application.

 

Residue and Grazing
  • Do not graze the treated crop or cut for forage hay within 25 days of application.
  • Do not harvest wheat for grain or straw within 60 days of application.
  • Do not re-enter treated fields within 12 hours of application.

 

Re-cropping

With the exceptional re-cropping flexibilityof Velocity m3, growers can plant spring and durum wheat, barley, oats, canary seed,canola, flax, peas, soybeans, alfalfa and field corn the year following application. Lentils require a replanting interval of 22 months.

 

Crop Safety

Velocity m3 is completely crop safe on all varieties of wheat (including durum) and can be applied at any time from the 1-6 leaf stage,up to 3 tillers. It includes a Bayer CropScience proprietary safener that accelerates the metabolism of the herbicide in the crop but not in susceptible weed species.
